Moaffak Ahmed is a serial entrepreneur with over 20 years of marketing and business development experience in Europe, North America and Asia. He has created - and successfully executed - business and marketing strategies for rapidly growing high tech firms.

He is currently working with passionate entrepreneurs and researchers to translate innovative ideas to significant growth companies. Veturi Venture Accelerator provides seed funding, strategic guidance and hands-on participation.

Prior to Veturi, Moaffak was a co-founder of Trema, where he was responsible for marketing and communications. Trema (today: Wall Street Systems) is the global leader in software solutions for central banks and corporate treasuries of Fortune 500 companies. At the time of his exit in 2004, Trema had USD 50 million in revenues and over 300 employees in nine offices globally, with clients like the European Central Bank, GE Capital, and Unilever.

In addition to marketing and business development, Moaffak has been involved in establishing presence in new geographical markets, building partnerships, recruiting, 10+ funding rounds, IPO preparations, mergers and acquisitions as well as due diligence processes. So far he has 15 years of daily working experience with 50+ different nationalities and cultures.

Moaffak is also a board observer for multiple companies such as Digital Foodie Ltd., Hyperin (also EVP), Connexor and Aspida. Moaffak holds the position of Chairman of the board for Senseg, Maventa and Ironstar Helsinki.
